Below I have created a general concept map of what ADST might look like in my LLC. I imagine this concept map will look different for each of the ADST courses offered at my school. With a specific course in mind comes the opportunity for more detailed notes in each of the ADST stages. For example, a defining in a textiles course would like quite different than a robotics course.
A few years ago, the teacher of the design and innovation team had students create digital drawings for how our library space could be reimagined as a library learning commons space. As I was completing this task, I thought that was an excellent example of how ADST & LLC can work together. Having students involved in designing the space which they are the primary users to me perfectly modelled ADST in the library.
