Much like the SAMR model, the TPACK model helps teachers evaluate their strengths in three key areas: content, pedagogy and technology. Better understanding these strengths can help educators make informed decisions about implementing technology in the classroom. Wondering how the TPACK model can be applied to your professional teaching practice?
Below, I have reflected on my own strengths as a high school English Teacher. Last semester, I taught one section of Composition 11. Regardless of the task, one common skill I have my students practice over and over again is analyzing text features, specifically language, and explain how they contribute to the larger meaning of the text.
