Updating the Plan

Selecting one photo to illustrate the possibilities of my library redesign was a difficult task. Instead, I selected images to accompany each part of my plan. I rearrange my Linoit board around the image of the word equity because I feel at the heart of reorganizing books into lower bookshelves is accessibility to all staff and students. Another point of inspiration was a quote I came across while in attendance at the BCTLA conference a couple of weeks ago.

"Equity is not something we do once in a while, but rather the lens through which we intentionally plan and carry out our vision of the school library."- Rabia Khokar.

I believe that physically placing equity in the middle of my plan reinforces the purpose of my plan and simplifies the ultimate goal for anyone viewing my Linoit board.
